Many people suffer from chronic pain. In many cases, surgery or other treatments may not have worked.  Once upon a time, people like this had few alternatives.  But today, they have another option to consider with virtually no risk: neurostimulation, which uses mild electrical impulses to block pain signals in the nerves along the spinal column, minimizing or eliminating the pain the person feels.

Anderson Podiatry Center for Nerve and Chronic Pain recently introduced and has been treating patients in Colorado and Wyoming with Stivax, a non-narcotic neurostimulation treatment for many types of chronic pain and neuropathy, as well as peripheral artery disease (PAD).

“I had pain from my back to my legs, hips and feet. I had been taking(narcotics) Tramadol and Tylenol for years, every night.  I haven’t taken any since starting (Stivax)….I can walk better and farther!”  Veronica

Immediately reduce pain and reduce or eliminate addictive pain medications.

Patients typically report a significant reduction in pain with increased mobility within the first weeks of the of eight-week protocol, and further reduction of pain in subsequent months. The effect is most always sustained long-term and has been an effective alternative to opioid pain medications with no negative side effects reported. Some patients, having solely relied upon narcotic drug therapies, have been able to discontinue the use of these conventional, addictive medicines.

Stivax often provides relief even when other pain management treatments have failed. This FDA approved procedure is covered by Medicare and most insurance plans.

A simple, in-office procedure.

Stivax neuromodulation is an outpatient therapy where patients wear a small disposable device fitted just under the collar. Diagnosis and placement of the device can usually be done on the same day.  It is water resistant and generally does not affect patients’ normal routine. It works by emitting a low imperceptible electrical current via the vagus nerve from a lead attached to the ear lobe.

Stivax can provide relief for patients with many

types of painful conditions including:

Arthritis and Joint Injuries

Neuropathy

Post Surgical Pain

Peripheral Artery Disease

Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy

Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

Migraines

Back and Neck pain

Chronic wounds and amputation prevention
